Emanuela joined UK CEED in June 2011 conducting research on clusters and the cleantech sector. She has a multicultural background with various advisory working experience. In fact, after earning an MSc in Public Administration & International Institutions Management at Bocconi University (Italy), she worked in Belgium as a policy advisor at the European Office of LEGACOOP, the major Italian Federation of Cooperatives & Mutuals before then working as a senior insurance consultant in Milan.
Her passion for the environment sector led her to move to England and complete an MSc in Environmental Management at the University of Derby with a final thesis in sustainable transport. She has also deepened her experience in sustainability, environmental management, audit and EU policy issues by working at the Transport & Travel Management Section at the University of Derby, at Choose Cycling (a Derbyshire Green travel organisation), and for Erewash Borough Council.
Emanuela is an Italian native speaker with fluency in English and French and is Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (AIEMA).
