Prior to joining UK CEED in December 2006, Gareth completed a Masters Degree in Geology at the University of Southampton and an MSc in Environmental Impact Assessment, Management Systems and Auditing at the University of East Anglia. During his time in Southampton, Gareth worked for the Geosciences Advisory Unit analysing soil and concrete contamination from the nuclear industry and atomic weapon fallout.
Gareth is an Operations Manager at UK CEED where manages the organisation’s strategy and day-to-day operations of the Centre. He aims to improve business and investment opportunities for the growing cleantech and low carbon and environmental goods and services sectors. Gareth manages a number of initiatives aimed at supporting eco-innovation including the eco-innovaton cluster in Peterborough (EnviroCluster), the Water Innovation Network, as well as two initiatives funded by the European Commission.
